Reset Tesla Model 3 Tyre Pressure Sensors Warning Light
How to reset the TPMS on the Tesla Model 3

The purpose of the TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring System) on Tesla Model 3 is to alert you when tire pressure is too low and could to create unsafe driving conditions.
If the light is illuminated, it means your tires could be underinflated, which can lead to undue tire wear and possible tire failure. It’s important to understand the importance of proper tire inflation, and how TPMS can help you maintain your tires.
If the tyre pressure light comes on particularity when it’s cold, this is because air pressure is lower when cold and once the tyre has warmed, the light should go out.
NOTE. To stop the warning light coming on, add a little air to the tyres, being careful not to over-inflate.
The tyre pressure warning light illuminates on the Tesla Model 3 often due to tyre pressure falling 25% or more below the threshold allowance in one or more tyres.
Before resetting the tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), check pressure in all tyres including the spare if you have one.
There are two ways to reset the TPMS on the Tesla Model 3 model years 2018 2019 2020 2021. Depending on your vehicle firmware update, here we tell you how to do it:

- Turn on the ignition (Get in the car and then press the brake pedal)
- Tap the CAR CONTROL menu (The control menu is represented by a CAR icon and located in the lower-left corner of the touchscreen)
